The calling of the great outdoors is not one that many know how to answer. The pockets of nature left within the Metro are a far cry from the wilderness. For those left wanting for more, head for the hills with the Outdoor Expo North 2023 this coming February.
The largest gathering of outdoor products and service exhibitors will take place in Alviera Estate in Porac, Pampanga this February 24-26, 2023. Organizers have planned a 3-day exposition and camping full of different activities. There will be talks on overlanding, outdoor cooking, motorcycle trail clinics, off-road clinics, and more. Barebones Living, an American outdoor brand, will be hosting a fire cooking demo with the Baguio Mountain Man himself, Chef Chavi.
A camping experience like no other, the expo is open to novices, families, and enthusiasts in a celebration of the outdoors. There will be a dedicated two-hectare campground where up to 400 participants may pitch their tents: each with their own approximate 30 sqm. of camping space. Campers will receive a discounted entrance to Sandbox for families to enjoy, raffle entries, and access to portable toilets and water supply dedicated to campers.
Interested campers may register online to reserve a camping slot. After January 31, the regular camping rate is P3,500 for two nights. This includes entrance for four to the camping and exhibit grounds. Expected temperatures are 30-34°C during the day and below 20°C at night. Campers who want to build a bonfire must bring their own pit.
Next to the campgrounds is the exhibit area that will feature products across various categories: overland, camping, adventure travel, cycling, and motorcycles. Participants may browse and get exclusive promotions from brands like Barebones, Post General, CampCover, Eezy Supplies, Front Runner, SmartCap, Kao, Ecoflow, Decked, AluBox, Leitner, ARB, HitchPro, Hitchfire, Poler, Gecko Overland Trailers, Muscle trucks, TJM, THOR, DOD, Snow Peak, The Travel Club, ROX, Overland Kings, Husqvarna, KTM, HIMO/Frey, Domestic and more.
Guests are welcome to the exhibit for an entrance fee of P150/pax per day if registered online and P300 for walk-ins. Alviera Estate is accessible through the Porac Exit of SCTEX, less than an hour away from the NLEX Balintawak Exit.
